Musings of a Lazy traveler

I’m going, to be honest, here, I love traveling, but I hate doing everything in one go. When I’m visiting a place I can’t Google- Top places to see in XYZ and make my plans. Yes, little research is necessary, but that’s not everything. Going to a new country is all about letting yourself go and exploring everything- everything they built over the years in your way.

Saying Goodbyes to Bangkok!

I recently visited Pattaya, Thailand and I realized that being a ‘Lazy Traveller’ is cool. An area of barely 22.2 km² but in 3 days I was not able to cover it, I wonder how people can visit Bangkok, Phi Phi, and Phuket in 3 days. Vacations are meant to discover your freedom more than exploring country.

“because he had no place he could stay in without getting tired of it and because there was nowhere to go but everywhere, keep rolling under the stars…”
Jack Kerouac

My days:-

First of all, A good hotel room is not a luxury but an investment. I hate people who don’t want to spend a little on a decent enough place for staying on the grounds of- ‘I will be exploring city all day long why spend money on a home.

A. It is always good to have an aesthetically pleasing bed to rest your cute ass on.
B. Enjoy small and big perks you get with it.
C. Nothing wrong with having a room with a view.

And then there are nights when you are shit drunk; Living your regrets!

My nights:-

Without a doubt, my nights included wearing my best clothes and going to bars but the purpose was to have a pleasant stay, so I ended up spending one night with beers, wasabi flavor lays and ice cream in my room, watching my favorite vloggers back to back by myself. Because the ultimate goal is to be happy and have little peace in life- which I got.

“All I wanted was to live a life where I could be me, and be okay with that. I had no need for material possessions, money or even close friends with me on my journey. I never understood people very well anyway, and they never seemed to understand me very well either. All I wanted was my art and the chance to be the creator of my own world, my own reality. I wanted the open road and new beginnings every day.”
